Story:Bajirao Singham (Ajay Devgn) is the archetypal honest cop who keeps his native village, Shivgad,
 crime free with his special system of dispensing personalised justice. However, his idyll is broken after
 a chance encounter with city goon, Jayakant Shikre (Prakash Raj) who rules over Goa with his ill-gotten wealth and power. Out of a sense of vengeance, Shikre gets Singham transferred to Goa and tries to wreak havoc in his life. But he obviously underestimates the power of this diehard cop who knows how to work the system his way.
